Landlords of Linn County is a non-profit organization for owners and managers of residential rental property. Education of our members is our primary goal, along with improving and promoting professional management skills. Our monthly meetings and excellent programs allow our members to keep informed on local, state and federal landlord tenant issues, and exchange information with each other.

Our members recently received an important email from our President - Keith Smith : Below you will find an exerpt

"It has been brought to my attention that you may have had a property you own damaged by the flood that impacted our community in June 2008. As one of the advocates for the flood impacted residential landlords of our community, the Landlords of Linn County has been asked to complete a needs assessment survey to assist the City of Cedar Rapids and the State of Iowa in determining the level of funding allocated to the non-owner occupied properties of the community. We are working in conjunction with the Cedar Rapids Small Business Recovery Group in this effort..."
